DJ Wilkinson have completed a new sewer connection for a new development in Leicestershire. The project included carrying out the relevant Section 50 notice, including a road closure and a Section 106 application for Severn Trent Water for permission to connect to their system.

The project involved providing a new foul sewer connection on behalf of the developer, for 5 new houses. The new connection consisted of the construction of a new manhole chamber in the center of the carriageway 3.5m deep. The location of the new manhole chamber meant that a temporary road closure was required, but fortunately the works were carried out quickly and the local residence were only inconvenienced for a short while.
